Refund policy

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

At Shop It, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us and we will assist you.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Please provide your order number, details of the problem and, where appropriate, clear photographs of the item.

Where goods do not meet the standards required under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), your rights and remedies under the CPA will apply. This may include a repair, replacement or refund where applicable.

Change-of-Mind Returns

Shop It may accept eligible change-of-mind returns, subject to applicable law and our return conditions. Products should be unused, in their original condition and packaging, and include all accessories supplied with the product.

Certain products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns where exclusions are permitted by law, including certain personalised, perishable or hygiene-sensitive products.

Refunds

Once an eligible returned item has been received and assessed, we will notify you of the outcome. If a refund is approved, it will be processed using the applicable payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Return Delivery Costs

Where an item is defective, damaged, incorrect or otherwise required to be returned at the supplier’s risk and expense under applicable law, Shop It will arrange or cover the applicable return costs. For approved change-of-mind returns that are not required by law, return delivery costs may be the customer’s responsibility.

How to Request a Return

To request a return, contact Shop It using the contact information provided on our website. Please include your order number and reason for requesting the return.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or override any rights or remedies available to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other applicable South African law.
